2. Our Services

EHR Services provides electrical, heating and renewable-energy related services, which may include:

The exact services provided will depend on the quotation or agreement issued to you.

3. Quotations

Any quotation we provide will normally set out the proposed works, equipment and price.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Where circumstances are discovered during a survey or installation that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand, we will discuss any additional work and associated costs with you before carrying it out, where reasonably practicable.

4. Surveys and Site Assessments

Where a site survey is required, we may assess:

A survey does not necessarily guarantee that an installation can proceed.

If material issues are identified, we may amend the proposed specification, price or installation arrangements.

5. Acceptance of Work

A contract may be formed when you:

The specific terms applying to your project will be those contained in your quotation, order confirmation and any additional written agreement.

6. Deposits and Payments

Where a deposit is required, the amount and payment terms will be stated in the quotation or order documentation.

Unless otherwise agreed:

If payment is overdue, we may suspend further work until the account is brought up to date.

7. Changes to Your Project

Changes requested by you after acceptance may result in additional costs or changes to the installation timetable.

We will notify you of significant additional costs before carrying out additional work where reasonably practicable.

8. Installation

We will carry out installation work with reasonable care and skill.

Installation dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a fixed installation date.

Installation times may be affected by:

9. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

You are responsible for ensuring that we are informed of any asbestos, structural defects, hazardous materials or other known risks that may affect the work.

10. Existing Systems and Property

We will take reasonable care when working on your property.

However, we cannot be responsible for defects or deterioration in existing systems, structures, wiring, plumbing, roofing or other components that were not caused by our work.

Where existing equipment or infrastructure is unsuitable, unsafe or defective, additional work may be required before the proposed installation can proceed.

11. Products and Equipment

Equipment supplied as part of an installation may be subject to the manufacturer’s specifications and warranty terms.

Different manufacturers may provide different warranty periods and conditions.

Where applicable, we will provide you with relevant warranty and product documentation following installation.

Manufacturer warranties may require the customer to comply with registration, maintenance or other requirements.

12. Certification and Compliance

Where applicable, we will arrange relevant certification associated with the works we undertake.

Depending on the installation, this may include certification or notification relating to electrical, renewable-energy, heating or other applicable requirements.

The exact certification provided will depend on the nature of the work and the relevant regulatory or certification requirements.

13. Renewable Energy and Performance Estimates

Where we provide estimated energy generation, savings or financial returns, these are estimates and are not guarantees.

Actual performance may vary depending on factors including:

Any savings or financial projections should therefore be treated as estimates.

14. Customer Cancellation Rights

Where you are a consumer and the contract is entered into at a distance or away from our business premises, you may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable consumer legislation.

The cancellation period and any exceptions will depend on the circumstances of your contract and the nature of the services.

If you ask us to begin work during a statutory cancellation period, you may be required to pay for services properly performed before cancellation where the law permits this.

Certain goods or services may also be subject to statutory exceptions from cancellation rights.

Where specific cancellation rights apply to your contract, we will provide the relevant information with your quotation or contract documentation.

15. Finance

Where finance is available, finance may be provided by a separate finance provider.

Any finance agreement will be between you and the relevant finance provider and will be subject to that provider’s own terms and conditions.

EHR Services does not guarantee that a finance application will be approved.

16. Warranties

Where EHR Services provides its own workmanship warranty, the applicable warranty period and conditions will be stated in your quotation or installation documentation.

Manufacturer warranties are separate and may be subject to the manufacturer’s own terms.

Warranties may not cover damage caused by:
